At the 2009 “BrickCon” Lego convention, the winning entry in the “Best Art” category was Guy Himber’s homage to George Melies’ A Trip to the Moon (1902), created entirely from Lego blocks.

There’s a brownstone around the corner from me with the Bullet-in-the-Man-in-the-Moon’s Eye shot reproduced as part of the wrought iron fence.
